Exploration and Production Industry.
As a graduate engineer
he initially worked for a major service company, both
in the UK and overseas, before moving into drilling
operations. On returning to the UK he joined the Department
of Energy and then set up NRG 4 years later. NRG has
been operating for 15 years and has been involved in
all spheres of the international well operations business.
During this time Andrew himself has provided management
input and advice to major projects and initiatives,
at all corporate levels, for various sizes of Oil &
Gas related companies, regulatory authorities and firms
of lawyers.

An honours graduate in Geology, Peter joined the industry
in 1974 in Indonesia. He was then employed by the Department
of Energy as a Senior Well Operations Inspector for
8 years and was responsible for giving Government consent
for UK well operations.
Following a 2½ year career
as an Offshore Installation Manager, he returned to
the Department and then to the HSE as a member of a
senior management team with responsibilities for recruitment,
internal systems for inspection and safety case assessment
and or operational input into the new offshore regulatory
regime. He managed HSE's well operations inspection
function and was also the HSE’s Area Director
for Lancashire and Cumbria and Deputy Director of Operations
for the HSE's Offshore Safety Division. Peter joined
NRG in 1997. |
has a broad knowledge of all
aspects in the planning, implementation and management
of well operations, gained over 28 years experience
with major players in the industry.
After gaining an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering
in 1975, Dave joined Shell International in the Netherlands
as a Drilling Engineer and was involved in both land
and offshore drilling operations. A period as an Assistant
Driller in Iraq was followed by a move to BNOC (later
to become Britoil), where he progressed within the Drilling
Department from Wellsite Engineer to achieve overall
responsibility for drilling engineering operations in
the UK. After the takeover by BP, Dave was appointed
as the Drilling Engineering Superintendent responsible
for managing well engineering on mobile rigs offshore
UK, Holland and Eire; during the period of peak activity
in 1990 the work involved eight floating and three jack-up
units.
In 1991, Dave was engaged by the HSE as a well operations
specialist and then Head of Well Engineering the following
year, with responsibility for the UKCS Well Consents
System and close involvement in the development of the
safety case regime. Dave joined NRG in 2002.

Halliburton in 1977 as a graduate engineer. Chris worked
in Norway as a stimulation and cementation engineer.
In 1981 he joined Phillips Norway and gained a wide
experience in well construction and production operations,
holding positions as Drilling Engineer, Offshore Production
Engineer, Corrosion Engineer, and Offshore Drilling
Supervisor.
Since 1988 Chris has
worked as a contract drilling/well operations engineer
for many operators including Shell, BP, and ExxonMobil.
In 1996 he joined Amerada Hess as their independent
Well Examiner and was instrumental in implementing and
operating their Well Examination Scheme. In the recent
past he has also performed well examination work for
several other operators including Ranger Oil, ConocoPhillips,
Star Energy, EnCana and British Gas. |
